Kerry u 14 team were defeated by Cork in their first round round game against Cork on Saturday by 4 16 to 1 10 .Kerry were All Ireland Champions in This competition last year .As this is around robin Competition Kerry management took the opportunity of giving most of the panel game time and tried various combinations that will prove valuable as the team progresses .Scorers for Kerry Shelly Clifford 1-0 Cait Ni Luing 0-4 Cara Randals Katie Buckley Niamh Browne Ally Ni Mathuna Niamh o Connor And Meadbh Rochford all with a point each  Kerry are out in the Next round Mid April

Kerry were defeated  by a very fast Galway team that took their scoring chances early and punished Kerry at every opportunity Early goals by the home team made the difference as Kerry struggled to break down a lively defence Galway were ahead 2-10 to Kerrys 0-5 at half time .Kerry made a number of changes in the second half as they Tried hard to get into the game The big worry at the moment  for Kerry is  they lost Lorraine Scanlon through injury .Kerry now travel to Mayo On sunday week in what will be a must win Game
