The Ladies Gaelic Football Association have launched a new regional series of Grab Your Whistle Adult courses to assist counties to increase the capacity of adult referees officiating games within their counties. Counties have struggled to have enough referees to meet demand since Covid and these courses offer the opportunity for referees to take the next step on their officiating pathway. The course is designed to recruit and train referees aged 18+ with a specific emphasis on females or referees progressing from the youth course. On completion of the course the referee will be qualified to referee competitive club football at adult and juvenile level. Participants must have completed the Grab Your Whistle Youth course or have a minimum of two years experience officiating in Gaelic Games.
