Leitrim star leads the early running in the race for the 2026 ZuCar Golden Boot award

LEITRIM star Muireann Devaney is the early frontrunner in the race for the ZuCar Golden Boot award.

Devaney scored 1-8 against Wicklow last weekend as the Connacht champions began their TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate series.

Devaney’s haul is one point better than Longford’s Kamille Burke, who registered 1-7 in Longford’s big win over Kilkenny in the Junior Championship.

The early leaders are listed on the graphic below and the overall winner of the ZuCar Golden boot award will be the player who registers the highest individual tally across the TG4 All-Ireland Championships – and covering the Junior, Intermediate and Senior grades.
