MALIN WIN IN MAYOBRIDGE.

Malin ladies have advanced to the next round of the Ulster Junior championship four point victory over Down champions in Down. The final score was Mayobridge 2–12 Malin 6–4.This was an excellent performance from the Ininshowen girls after their long journey .

Mayobridge played with the wind in the first half and were 2–8 vs. 3–1 up at half time . Goals from Zoe Doherty, Aisling Mc Dermott, and Emma Donaghy got the Malin goals with a point from Zoe Doherty.

Second half was a different game with home team ahead 2–8 vs. 3–1 at the interval but Malin were not to be denied and got two goals in the first ten minutes with goals from Zoe and Aisling .Mayobridge got a point to level things again but Aisling got two more points to put the Donegal side ahead. Mayobridge got three more points in this half but the Malin girls finished the stronger with two points from Aisling, and Emma sealed victory with a goal and a point to put the game beyond the Down
champions.
Final score Mayobridge 2–12. Malin 6–4.
