Donegal u18 girls traveled to Fintona with a small squad and came home with a two point win.The home side led 0-8 pts to 0-4pts at half time playing with the wind in the first half which gave them considerable advantage and looked like they were home and dry but the Tirconaill girls came out in the second half and really put it up to them and the final score was
Tyrone 1-9. Donegal 1–11.Tyrone had four scores per Niamh Hughes, Natalie Hughes,Natalie Hughes , and Lisa Skeffington before Donegal registered their first score with a free from Ciara Hegarty. Tyrone scored four more from Mairead Conwell, Niamh Hughes,Cathy Monaghan, and Emma Jane Gervin . Donegal ‘s three scores came from Kate Keaney, Ailish Ward. and Niamh Mc Laughlin.
In the second half the home team got only two scores goal from Mairead Conwell, and a point from Niamh Hughes from a free. Donegal got the game off to a good start with a point from a free from Geraldine Mc Laughlin,and three more points from play from Roisin Friel, Ailish Ward, and Geraldine Mc Laughlin. Ailish Ward made the scores level with a well taken goal and Tara Khan and Geraldine Mc Laughlin got two more points to give the Donegal girls a well deserved victory by two points.

Donegal got off to great start and within ten minutes were ahead by a score of 2-3 to Tyrone 0-3 and looked to be on their way with goals from Ciara Grant, and Alana Mc Donald and two points from Geraldine Mc Laughlin, and a point from Lorraine Molloy. Tyrone had three points from Nicola Donnelly, Eva Hicks and Alice Mc Nally. Tyrone then changed tactics and with wind
advantage sent in long balls and some lack luster defending by Donegal allowed them to score four goals and four points before half time while our girls only got two points.Tyrone goal scorers were Eva Hicks, Teri Mc Cusker, Rebekah Forbes,and Teri Mc Cusker and points from Aine Canavan, Alice Mc Nally two , and Laura Mc Sorley. the two Donegal points came from
Niamh Mc Laughlin.

Once again we saw a rejuvenated Donegal team who restricted Tyrone to a goal and two points .the points were scored by Alice Mc Nally, and Nicola Donnelly and the goal from Marian Barker. Donegal registered a goal and ten points in this half Niamh mc Laughlin got a goal and a point,Lorraine Molloy a point,and points from Geraldine Mc Laughlin, Caoimhe Barrett, Tanya
Kennedy, Lorraine Molloy, Geraldine Mc Laughlin ,Niamh Mc Laughlin, Geraldine Mc Laughlin,and Niamh Mc Laughlin .Final score a draw .
