Muckalee’s Ellen Lawlor is The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month for November 2025

ELLEN Lawlor from Kilkenny club Muckalee has been honoured with The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month award for November 2025.

Ellen (21) has been a standout performer for a Muckalee side that has been on an historic run during this club season.

Not content with becoming the first Kilkenny club to win an AIB Leinster Junior title in 21 years, Muckalee defeated St Kiernan’s from London and Galway’s Menlough Skehana to reach next Sunday’s AIB All-Ireland Junior club final at Parnell Park.

When Muckalee take on Kerry opponents Cromane, they will become the first Kilkenny side to appear in an All-Ireland Ladies club football final.

Ellen, captain of the Kilkenny county team, has shone like a beacon throughout a memorable campaign.

She scored a goal in the famous All-Ireland semi-final victory over Menlough Skehana, as Muckalee broke new ground, and now all roads lead to Parnell Park.

A renowned maker and taker of scores, Ellen has been named in the pivotal centre forward position for next Sunday’s final.

Ellen was presented with her award today by Olivia Colgan, Business Development Executive, the Croke Park Hotel.
