Ryan McConville is the Bord Gáis Energy / Irish Daily Star Ladies Football Manager of the Month for February Armagh manager Ryan McConville has been awarded the inaugural Bord Gáis Energy / Irish Daily Star Manager of the Month award. McConville only took over as manager of the division 2 side this year and Armagh currently stand at the top of the table following a tremendous three wins out of three, including a 13 point victory over 2009 Intermediate All-Ireland champions Clare. “Last year was a tough year for the Armagh ladies and we’ve been working hard to put confidence back into the team,” said McConville. “I am really proud and honoured to have won this award and I’d like to accept it on behalf of all the coaching staff and of course the players themselves. Hopefully all our hard work will pay off and we’ll be playing division 1 football next year. ” Speaking at the award presentation, Ger Cunningham, Sports Sponsorship Manager, Bord Gáis Energy, said, “Ryan’s done a terrific job with Armagh so far and the turn around in the team has been really impressive.
