Shannon Gaels Notes 31.03.2015

Well done to the Roscommon u14 team that beat mayo on Saturday. The club is represented by Ellis Conway and Emer Burke in the squad and Luke O’Dowd on the management. Congratulations also to Sorcha Bruen, Niamh O Beirne and the Roscommon Ladies who beat Fermanagh on Sunday booking their place in the National League Semi Finals.

The U16s match versus Elphin was postponed and rescheduled for next Thursday evening at 7pm in Croghan.  Good Friday will see our Intermediate ladies welcome Eastern Harps to Croghan for the first round of the Connaught club League. Match will throw-in at 6pm.

The Roscommon Minor ladies consisting of 6 Shannon Gaels players meet Galway in Tuam on Easter Saturday. This is part of a double header with the Men’s U21s playing after. Good luck to girls and all involved and also to our own James Deane with the U21s.

The Intermediate will play St Mary’s in the League on Sunday to end the footballing action for the week. The game throws in at 12 noon in Croghan.

We encourage everyone to get out and support all our players.

Registration is to be finalised this week. Please contact Camel Burke or Patricia Beirne.

We wish all our members a very Happy Easter.
