The U14 County Team had a home game against Galway on Saturday last and having been up by a goal at half time, they unfortunately could not hold on to secure a win.  This leaves them 1 win out of 3 games with the final round to be played on the 4th May away to Mayo.

The Minor Team had 1 win out of 3 games going into their final round of the group stages when they were away to Roscommon on Saturday last the 27th April.  In a well fought game Sligo were unfortunate and were defeated by 3 points at the final whistle.  As this was the last round this defeat means they proceed to a Connacht “B” Final and have to play Roscommon again next week on the 5th of May.  (Time and venue to be confirmed)

The next county Board meeting is Monday 13th May in the Embassy Rooms Sligo at 8.30pm.  All clubs are asked to inform their delegates.  It is important to attend these meetings.

Clubs that won 2012 League competitions last year are asked to return all cups, shields and trophies to the County board as soon as possible.  Please ensure these are cleaned and in good condition prior to returning them.
