St. Croans Ladies GAA

 

Our junior girls took on Padraig Pearses in their opening round of the league on Sunday last.  This was a tough game for the girls who were were trailing 4  8  to 8  4 at half time.  But the girls showed their true determination in the second half when the fought back and leveled on the final whistle.  St. Croans 10-17 Padraig Pearses 12-11.  Training continues on Friday evening at 8.

U16s will get their league campaign off to a start when they head to Kiltoom on Wednesday evening to take on St. Brigids.  Training continues on Friday evenings.

The St. Croans Ladies annual Table Quiz is coming up again on Good Friday Night in the Fr. Flanagan Memorial Centre, Ballymoe.  This is a fun night out for all the family. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

St. Croans Victory Dinner Dance is taking place on Easter Sunday night 5th April in Hodson Bay Hotel.  Presentations will be made on the night to the victorious ladies and mens teams.  Tickets available from Rosaleen Reilly 087 6438092 Majella Smith 086 8271896 or Gary Cunnane 087 6385318.

We would like to congratulate Amy Keegan, John Kennedy, James Duignan and the Glenamaddy Community School on winning the All Ireland School  Senior A ladies final with a 4-05 to 3-07 victory over Cahir on Saturday last.  Well Done.
