TG4 Munster Senior Championship Final
Cork v Kerry
Cork v Kerry, Pairc ui Rinn, 3.00pm, (K Delahunty)

The only thing hampering Cork is their lack of competitive football, having not played since the league final where they comfortably beat their Munster final opponents. Young starlet Amanda Murphy has established herself in the senior team and adds further menace to an attacking line which includes Valerie Mulcahy and Deirdre O’Reilly.

Kerry are a vastly improved outfit and proved their metal by accounting for Waterford a week after their league final disappointment. Geraldine O’Se will lead the Kerry attack but the influence Grainne Ni Fhlatharta is able to exert at the back may prove more valuable. Cork will have too much class and firepower for the girls from the Kingdom but expect Kerry to progress through the qualifiers.

Verdict: Cork

TEAMS:
Cork: E Harte, C Walsh, A Walsh, L Barret, S O’Reilly, B Stack, G O’Flynn, J Murphy, B Corkery, N Cleary, M O’Connor, A Murphy, V Mulcahy, A O’Shea, D O’Reilly

Kerry: L O’Driscoll, R Ni Chinneide, G Ni Fhlatharta, K Gleeson, J Brosnan, C Kelly, M Finnegan, S J Joy, B Breen, S O’Sullivan, M O’Donoghue, E O’Mahony, P Dennehy, L Ni Mhuirtceartaigh, G O’Se

TG4 Leinster Senior Championship Final
Laois v Dublin

Laois v Dublin, Dr. Cullen Park, 3.45pm, (C Groome)

Laois have been the dominant force in Leinster football for some time and have a host of talent sprinkled throughout the side. Laois destroyed Kildare on their way to the final and have one of the most potent attacks in the game which includes Mary Kirwan and Tracey Lawlor.

Dublin need to find the form that produced the league victory over Cork earlier this year if they are to get the better of the O’Moore County. The Jackies are playing very attractive football but their indecisiveness in front of the posts kept Meath in touch during their semi-final clash and an over reliance on the Sinead Aherne could cost them dearly.

Verdict: Laois

TEAMS:
Laois: B Deegan, P Fogarty, L Muckian, M O’Grady, L Hyland, A Casey, A Quigley, T Lawlor, K O’Reilly, E Fitzpatrick, N Kirwan, A O’Loughlin, M Kirwan, A O’Loughlin, M Kirwan

Dublin: C O’Connor, A Cluxton, N Comyn, M Kavanagh, O Colreavy, D Masterson, S McGrath, N McEvoy, A McGuinness, M Nevin, AM Murphy, C Murphy, A Clark, S Aherne, L Davey
