As Ladies Football Championship sponsor, TG4 is thrilled to announce a live broadcast from the prestigious TG4 Ladies Football All-Star awards on Saturday, bringing fans right into the heart of the action, celebrating the outstanding achievements in Ladies Gaelic Football. Starting at 6:30 pm, we’ll be live from the red carpet, capturing exclusive interviews with this year’s All-Star and Player of the Year nominees, as well as celebrities and invited guests. The evening promises to showcase not only the incredible talent in the sport but also the style and elegance of the night’s attendees. Interviewees for the red carpet will include Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh and Ciara Butler (Kerry), Nicola Ward and Sarah Ní Loingsigh (Galway), Caroline O’Hanlon (Armagh), Máire O’Callaghan (Cork), Michelle Guckian (Leitrim) and Eimear Smyth (Fermanagh), among others. Then, at 11:00 pm, the live stream will return for the awards ceremony. Viewers can tune in to find out who will be crowned the 2024 TG4 Senior Players’ Player of the Year, as well as the 15 players who will be awarded All-Star awards. Additionally, the Junior and Intermediate Players’ Player of the Year award winners will be announced live on stream. All-Ireland Senior Champions Kerry lead the way with 15 players in the running for an All-Star award. Runners-up Galway have nine players nominated, Armagh are next in line with eight, Dublin have five players nominated, Cork have four, while players from Meath, Kildare, Tipperary and Waterford have also been included in the list compiled by the Ladies Gaelic Football Association’s All-Star committee. The senior nominees are Lauren McConville (Armagh), Nicola Ward (Galway) and Kayleigh Cronin (Kerry); the Intermediate hopefuls are Michelle Guckian (Leitrim), Charlene Tyrell (Leitrim) and Aoibhinn McHugh (Tyrone); and Bláithín Bogue (Fermanagh), Eimear Smyth (Fermanagh) and Kate Flood (Louth) have been nominated for the Junior award.
