Connolly’s of Moy are the new sponsors of the Tyrone Ladies adult football championships.
The deal was confirmed at the draw for the 2024 championship at Garvaghy on Wednesday night.
Vivion Connolly, a Director of the company, announced that the deal is for an initial three years and he spoke about just how important the Ladies game is in the County.
Garry Curry, vice chair of the Tyrone board, was delighted to confirm the move, which is a massive boost for Ladies Football in the County.
The draw for the championships went ahead on Wednesday evening with holders of the Jarlath Kerr Cup, (Senior Championship) Errigal Ciaran pitted against Dromore, with the potential to meet St Macartan’s in a quarter final.
2023 Intermediate champions Omagh will face Carrickmore, while fellow promoted side Cappagh play Trillick.
The junior champions from last year, Coalisland, will take on Donaghmore in a preliminary tie in the Intermediate Championship, with Glenelly and Beragh kicking off the Junior grade.
The championship gets underway at the start of September.
