Ulster Championship Launched in Armagh The Ulster ladies championship was launched today in Armagh in a joint venture with Ulster Council GAA. The Armagh City Hotel was packed with county players, managers, administrators and the media for the event. Ulster President Gerry Doherty spoke on behalf of the ULGFA. Gerry said, “We in our association, are delighted to have this oppurtunity to publicise our games and I would like to publicly record our thanks to Comhairle Uladh for their generous and continued support of our Association”. Gerry also took the opportunity to wish all the nine counties well as they pursue their respective championships saying, “May I take this opportunity to wish all players. managers and supporters well for these coming championships. We live in interesting times as counties strive for success and may we each and every county here today look forward to silverware coming home not only at Provincial level but National as well”.
