Vienna Host FUNdamentals Coaching Course

Ladies Gaelic Football is flourishing in Europe and the coaches of Vienna Gaels, Slovak Shamrocks and a coach from Barcelona Gaels were put through their paces for a FUNdamentals Coaching Course in Vienna at the weekend. The course took place in ASKO Atzgersdorf where the particpants received theoretical and practical training to assist them with their coaching skills for their teams.

The course modules included:

• Good Coaching Practice
• Fundamental/ Functional Movement Skills/ ABC’s
• Planning a Coaching Session
• Dealing With Issues
• Coaching a Session

 

The participants were even treated to some traditional Irish rain as they conducted their coaching sessions but this did not dampen their enthusiasm as everyone left awaiting their next sessions to demontsrate their new ideas and skills.
