Wexford Host Monica Dee Tournament

 

 

Wexford hosts Monica Dee Tournament.

 

 

All roads lead to county Wexford on June 7th for the Monica Dee Cup and Shield tournament which will be hosted by the Shelmaliers Ladies GAA club at Hollymount,Co.Wexford.

 

The tournament now in its second year is dedicated to the late Monica Dee, a dedicated member and supporter of the Limerick Association in London.Monica was a native of Cobh Co.Cork and wife of Limerick Exiles  Association Chairman Mr Con Dee.

 

The tournament now in its second year promises to be an even bigger event following up from last years successful launch in Ruslip. Latest news is that a total of 6 Ladies teams from Ireland and Britain will contest the Monica Dee Cup & Shield Tournament.

 

The tournament will take place on Saturday June 7th and will also feature a special U14 Ladies football event to run in conjunction with the main feature.

 

The Limerick Exiles Association are proud to be associated with this event and the day will conclude a social event at the local Hotel Curracloe.
