Active Disability Ireland Offering Inclusion Training

Are you interested in supporting your clubs and coaches to make their coaching sessions and programs more accessible and inclusive for children and adults with disabilities? If so then Active Disability Ireland have the course for you!

 

Active Disability Ireland delivers National Standardised Disability Inclusion Training, a 6-hour introductory level course, which is designed to give people ideas and tips on how to adapt and modify their sessions to make them more accessible and inclusive (see leaflet attached). Who should attend this course? Sport leaders, Development Officers, Parents, Coaches, Instructors, Volunteers and anyone interested in or involved in the provision of Sport and Physical Activity.

 

Completion: Upon completion of this course, all participants receive a Sport Ireland/ Active Disability Ireland certificate of completion along with a resource manual and a booklet full of inclusive games and activities.
