• The Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) is the governing body for the sport of Ladies Football on the island of Ireland.
• The LGFA is a recognised National Governing Body (NGB) for sport with Sport Ireland
• The LGFA is governed by the Official Guide and policies adopted by the Association
• The LGFA is compliant with the Governance Code for Type C Organisations
