NATIONAL FINANCE OFFICER (Maternity Cover)

 

 

The Association is looking to fill the position of Finance Officer (maternity cover) based in our head office in Croke Park in Dublin.  The contract commencing in July 2013 is for a 7 month duration.

 

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for:

• The development and maintenance of accounting systems and controls within the Association.
• The management of player registration.

 

Successful candidates will have:

• Professional qualification, minimum IATI or ACCA.
• Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a service related industry or sports related background with strong technical accounting skills.
• Good IT skills with a comprehensive knowledge of an accounting package, preferably Sage, and the Microsoft suite of packages.
• Strong planning and organising skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships with a variety of people.
• Ideally have a knowledge or interest in the sport.
