Gabriel Rangers beat Dunmore McHales

No trouble for Gabriel’s.
Gabriel Rangers 4-10 Dunmore McHales Galway 0-5.

The fairytale season for Gabriel Rangers continues.
On Sunday they had a comprehensive victory over Dunmore
McHale’s up in Galway. Playing with the elements they had
the game vritually sealed by a half time when a brace of
goals from the Cleary sisters Nollaig and Emer saw them
sailing to a 7 point lead a the interval on a scoreline
of 3-2 to 0-4.

With the elements in their favour in the 2nd half they continued
to dominate and ran out worthy winners in the end. After
capturing their first Co title this year, after he heartbreak
of 4 final defeats, they have been improving in every game
since they overcame Kildorrery in the Co final. Greta Burchill’s
experience in goal is proving invaluable and the Regan sisters

unit.

The first chairperson of the club when it was founded in
1997, Deirdre Ward and Elaine Cotter have formed a very
effective midfield partnership. At the business end of the
team, all the forwards have developed a great understanding
amongst each other and move with purpose and precision.
