Kelly, Murphy and Healy claim Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month awards

THE Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month award winners for August, September and October have been announced.

The respective recipients are Mayo’s Grace Kelly, Fermanagh’s TG4 All-Ireland junior medallist Sharon Murphy and Dublin’s TG4 All-Ireland senior winner Noelle Healy.

Mayo’s Grace Kelly receives her Player of the Month award for August from Croke Park Hotel senior manager Ian Monks.

Kelly claimed the August award after starring in Mayo’s senior championship victories over Kildare and Donegal.

Kelly, from the Moy Davitts club, scored 1-3 as Mayo defeated Kildare and the in-form attacker followed up with 1-4 in a player-of-the-match display in the TG4 All-Ireland quarter-final win against Donegal.

The September Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month is Noelle Healy, from the St Brigid’s club in Dublin.

Healy, who is contention for the Players’ Player of the Year award and a TG4 All-Star at tomorrow evening’s gala banquet, was player-of-the-match as Dublin stormed to All-Ireland senior glory against Mayo.

Dublin’s Noelle Healy is presented with the September Player of the Month Award by Alan Smullen, General Manager, Croke Park Hotel.

Healy scored two goals in the semi-final win against Kerry in August, and delivered another powerhouse display as the Sky Blues won the Brendan Martin Cup for the first time since 2010.

For her exploits as Fermanagh claimed TG4 All-Ireland junior success, Sharon Murphy is the Croke Park Hotel Player of the Month for October.

Sharon Murphy of Fermanagh is presented with her Player of the Month award for October by Croke Park Hotel senior manager Ian Monks.

Murphy, from the Lisnaskea club, netted a late penalty to take the drawn final against Derry to a replay, before delivering four points as the Erne County emerged victorious in Clones.
