Dublin v Loais (Dr. Cullen Park 6pm)

Laois and Dublin will go head to head in Dr. Cullen Park, Carlow on Saturday next, in the TG4 senior championship semi final, with the ball throwing in at 6pm.
Its less than six weeks since the sides last met in the TG4 Senior Leinster Final, on that occasion, Dublin captain Denise Masterson lead the Dublin side to victory (2-13 to 0-9), collecting their third successful Leinster senior title, and while the Dubs were in top form on the day, Laois felt that they under performed, and after beating Monaghan in the TG4 senior quarter finals in Banagher on Saturday last, the O’Moore side, captained by Angela Casey will be hoping to put in a much improved performance on Saturday next.
Dublin were only minute away from lifting the Brendan Martin cup last season, losing out to Cork by a single point, in this years championship, the Jackies had to battle all the way with Clare to book their place in this weekends semi final, and on Saturday last Gerry McGill and company sat in a comfortable position in Banagher, to watch Tyrone bringing the curtain down on an era of Cork dominance, the Rebeletts were beaten by seven points(3-11 to 0-13), by a determined Tyrone side in their quarter final game.
Dublin would be the bookies favourites to advance to meet either Tyrone or Kerry, however on Saturday next, Laois will be out to turn the tables on the Dubs to book their place in their first senior final since their win over Mayo in 2001.

Wexford v Limerick ( Freshford 2pm.)

Wexford face Limerick in Freshford on Saturday next, with a throw in time of 2pm, to decide who will Face either Derry or Louth in the TG4 all Ireland Junior Championship final on the 26th of September next.
Wexford looked down and out after they lost out to Wicklow by two points (1-7 to 1-9) on the 8th of August last, however they reignited their chances of reaching a semi final place when they beat Louth (3-10 to 1-8) in Wexford Park on August the 15th.
Last years beaten finalists Limerick, will be a tough test for the Model County, the treaty County are unbeaten in this years championship, and their top scorer Dympna O’Brien is also top of the Golden boot table with a total of eleven goals and twenty five points with Limerick’s Marie Claire Curtin lying in second place with a tally of two goals and ten points. On Saturday
next Wexfords Tara Maloney will be hoping to increase her tally of two goals and ten points, against Limerick.

Louth v Derry (Emyvale)

Louth kept their dreams of a place in an all Ireland junior final alive when they beat Wicklow by a single point (3-12 to 6-2) on Sunday last, and the tough test against the Garden County will stand to the Wee County when they take on Derry on Saturday next in Emyvale. The Oak Leaf County, have recorded one loss out of three games played in group A of the TG4 all Ireland
Junior Championship, but on paper they go in to this semi final game as slight under dogs to progress to the final.
On Saturday next, Louth captain Grace Lynch will be hoping to bridge a twelve year gap (1998), since they last contested an all Ireland title, on that occasion they over came Roscommon to lift the Junior trophy.
