What is your favourite aspect of refereeing? Keeps me involved ,fit,and the lifelong friends that I have made through reffing

If you could change one thing about refereeing what would it be? Get more respect for the job we do,and bring in rule that only the captain can speak to the ref.

If there was one rule you would like managers to be more aware of what would it be? Tell them it’s a non contact sport

If there was one rule you would like players to be more aware of what would it be? Chopping down on the opponents arms

Most embarrassing moment on the field: While hydrating before my big day in croke park I had to dash to loo about five minutes before through -in, I winged it and nobody noticed.

The highest point of your career to date: 27 th Sep 2015 All-Ireland intermediate final

What advice would you give to upcoming referees? Stay fit ,know and apply the rules and be firm but fair.

Sportsperson you would most like to meet: Roger Federer,Lionel Messi

What other sports are you interested in? Hurling,Squash,Golf,Fishing.

Last film you watched: Orange is the new black,Sopranos

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Westport ( with the sunshine we had in Capetown)

What would you not leave home without? Without some clothes on!

What is your ultimate goal as a referee? 2016 All-Ireland Senior final.
