40th All Ireland Final Line Up Complete

The 40th Ladies All Ireland Football Championship Finals will take place in Croke Park on September 29th and after today’s dramatic semi finals in Semple Stadium we now know the 6 counties that will contest the three finals.

Offaly contested the first ever senior final in 1974 and they will return to the decider when they face Wexford in the Junior Final. Tipperary were the winners of the first ever championship and they will also return to Croke Park, this time they face Cavan in the TG4 Intermediate final. Cork have been the best team in the country over the past decade and they will contest their 8th final in 9 years when they face Monaghan in the Senior Final.

That day will also mark the Record Breaking partnership between the Irish Cancer Society and the LGFA which will see specially designed bandanas sold at Croke Park for 2 euro each. We will set the record for ‘Most People Wearing Bandanas in One Place’ and all proceeds will go to the Irish Cancer Society
