Excitement builds across the country ahead of LGFA Croke Park U10 activity day

ALL roads lead to Croke Park on Monday, April 15, when an LGFA Under 10 Go Games Blitz will be held at the famous venue.

Go Games blitzes have been taking place all over the country, with participating teams then entered into a draw and picked to travel to Croke Park.

A maximum of two U10 teams from each county will participate in the Croke Park blitz and in Waterford, 14 clubs with 17 teams played three games each, with 182 girls taking part.

A brilliant day was had by all and Waterford LGFA would like to thank Brickey Rangers GAA Club & Kilrossanty Brickey Ladies Football club for hosting the county’s U10 blitz in Bushy Park.

Catriona Casey and U16 manager Gordon Kingsley were on hand with some valuable words of advice and the two lucky Waterford clubs selected to play at Croke Park are Shamrocks and Gaultier LGFA Clubs.

In Cork, the U10 Go Games qualifying blitz was held at the Éire Óg GAA Grounds this morning at the weekend.

10 clubs participated and the lucky teams who will play at Croke Park on April 15 are Delanys LGFC and Grenagh LGFC.

We want to hear from other counties who are sending teams to Croke Park next month, and you can email jackie.cahill@lgfa.ie with your updates.

The LGFA would like to thank and congratulate all teams who took part in county blitzes around the country, and we would encourage those who are making the trip to Croke Park to share their journey on our social media channels.
