Welcome back for 2010 to our readers , and here's looking to another action packed season of top quality football within our clubs and inter-county teams. I hope the Christmas break was enjoyed by all – & we are now ready & refreshed for this new season.

Review of 2009
Cork Ladies Football board held their AGM in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Friday December 4th 2009. Chairperson Brian Enright welcomed the attendance. Comprehensive reports from all outgoing officers had been previously distributed to all club during the month previous , with extra copies available on the night . Hon Sec Gobnait Ni Laoí & Fr Liam in particular were complemented for their professional and informative reports. The Chairman also added his appreciation to the treasurer & registrar for their reports and for those from the County Board who have developed PR within the press, trebling the previous year especially Mary White & John Mc Hale , Evening Echo , Vincent O Keeffe , C103fm and 96fm. The Evening Echo publishes a minimum of 2 weekly pages throughout the year , with many weeks extra features on Club & County action. In all approx 200 pages of Ladies Football was printed over the year. Vincent O Keeffe allotted a regular weekly section to Cork Ladies Football & 96FM are supporters of promoting our Quizmania , All Ireland Finals , & coverage of our County Final.

Tributes were paid to Anthony Dempsey , Micheal O Ciaradh and Dan Buckley who all stepped aside for the coming season.

New Season – Brings County Board Fundraisers
Cork Ladies Football launched back in August 2009 their Quizmania & Monster Draw which will be taking place very soon.
The Monster Fundraising Draw takes place on Wednesday January 20th 2010 . The final ticket sales are current ongoing so for you chance to win a Ford Ka for €20 or 3 tickets for €50 please contact Brian Enright Chairman 085-1100827 or Anthony Dempsey 086-8346822.
Quizmanina takes place in the Rochestown Park Hotel on Friday February 5th. Teams of 4 entry fee €150. Great prizes on the night including 3 x €1000 vouchers to be won by a team representing any club or association. Quiz Master will be John Mc Hale from the Evening Echo . County Board First meeting takes place on Monday January 25th in the Riverside Hotel Macroom at 8-30pm.
