Donegal club notes

It was a busy weekend for ladies football in the county with senior champions, Termon, travelling to St Pauls in Antrim and winning by a large margin, The Donegal Champions winning by 0-10 to 2-13. They now meet Down Champions, Bryanstown, in the next round.

The Intermediate Champions Ardara had home advantage against Newtownbutler from County Fermanagh but came out on the wrong side and lost  by 1-7 to 2-8  and so ends their Ulster campaign.

The third team to play in Ulster were Junior Champions Milford who again had home advantage against Antrim Side St. Josephs and they won very convincingly .

The score was Milford 7-6  St Josephs 2-9. Milford now travel to meet Monaghan side Dunamoyne in the semi final.

At home the Minor county championship continued with St Michaels girls travelling to Fanad and winning fairly comfortably where they didnt play with the same skill as in the previous games and now advance to the county semi final where they meet Naomh Mhuire in an  all northern game, the score on the day was Fanad  1-3 Michaels 5-4.
