DUBLIN LADIES BOARD NOTES

 

The AGM will reconvene at next months County Committee Meeting
which will be held in Aras Atha Cliath Parnell Park on Tuesday
February 20th 2007 at 7.30pm sharp. Each club is entitled to have
TWO delegates present on the night. The February county meeting
will follow the conclusion of the AGM.Clubs are also reminded
that all nominations for Registrar and Children’s Officer should
be with Secretary by 5pm on Tuesday 20th February 2007.

REMINDER again ALL CLUBS Must return all Trophies from both this
and last season to the Secretary or PRO at next months county
Committee Meeting.

Outstanding 2006 fixtures have recommenced .Details of all fixtures
will be sent out to clubs and will be posted on hill 16.ie.For

The Annual O’Neill’s Dublin Ladies Gala Award Night took place
on Friday last in the Castleknock Hotel and Country Club. Chairperson
John Hillery presided over proceedings in front of a packed house.
Presentations were made to all the County championship winning
clubs, player of the year awards to inercounty as well as Leinster
winning medals to The Dublin Minor Panel and the All Ireland Cup
to winning Dublin captain Niamh McEvoy.The highlight of the evening
was the presentation of the ‘Distinguished Contribution Award’
to Patricia Monahan to mark the magnificent contribution to the
Ladies Board over the past number of years. The Executive Committee
would also like to thank Kathleen Colreavy for an excellent job
in co-ordinating the event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all
who attended

Fundamentals Foundation Coaching Course will take pace on Saturday
February 17th 2007 in C.L.G Na Fianna Mobhi Road Glasnevin Dublin
9. This is a 6 hour course and will be from 9am to 4pm.This course
is now fully booked and any one who can’t attend must find a replacement.

Hard luck to the Dublin Senior Ladies who lost Narrowly to Sligo
in their first National league game on a scorline of 2-5 to 1-11.Trailing
on a scorline 1-7 to 0-2 Dublin produced a great comeback into
the second half and were unlucky to lose out in the end.
