DUBLIN LADIES BOARD NOTES It is with profound sadness and a sense of immense shock and disbelief we learnt the sad news on Saturday night of the sudden and untimely death of our dear friend, Jarlath Finnegan. The Dublin Ladies Football Board expresses its sincere condolences to Jarlath’s widow, Geraldine and their young family at this time of immense sadness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of immeasurable grief and profound sadness. We are deeply indebted to Jarlath for his loyal support of Dublin Ladies Football throughout the years. We will fondly remember Jarlath’s contribution as Selector on the Dublin Minor Ladies Team of 2004-2005 and the part he played in restoring the Leinster crown to Dublin following a 15 year wait The next county committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday 15th of May has been POSTPONED. It will now take place on Tuesday 22nd of May at 7-30pm in Aras Atha Cliath Parnell Park. We apologise for any inconvenience cause. All clubs should ensure that their delegate is aware of this change Pride of place this week goes to the Minor Ladies team who defeated a gallant Westmeath side in the Leinster Minor Final on Saturday last in Clane Co.Kildare. Well done to all involved in this fantastic achievement of winning a third consecutive title and bringing the team into an All Ireland semi final versus Tyrone. There is a new dedicated results service that has come in to operation from last week. ALL RESULTS MUST BE SENT TO 086-2503844 ON THE DAY OF MATCH. Please make sure all relevant team mentors are aware of this change, therefore information can be made available to clubs on a regular basis. There is a number of results outstanding since last week and we would urge clubs to send results ASAP Can ALL CLUBS please note that referees fees have now increased to 20 per team at all levels with immediate effect The yearly fixture list will be completed shortly and will be sent out to clubs ASAP in the meantime fixtures will be emailed to all clubs on a weekly basis.
