DUBLIN LADIES BOARD NOTES

It is with profound sadness and a sense of immense shock
and disbelief we learnt the sad news on Saturday night
of the sudden and untimely death of our dear friend, Jarlath
Finnegan. The Dublin Ladies Football Board expresses its
sincere condolences to Jarlath’s widow, Geraldine and
their young family at this time of immense sadness. Our
thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of immeasurable
grief and profound sadness. We are deeply indebted to
Jarlath for his loyal support of Dublin Ladies Football
throughout the years. We will fondly remember Jarlath’s
contribution as Selector on the Dublin Minor Ladies Team
of 2004-2005 and the part he played in restoring the Leinster
crown to Dublin following a 15 year wait

The next county committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday
15th of May has been POSTPONED. It will now take place
on Tuesday 22nd of May at 7-30pm in Aras Atha Cliath Parnell

Pride of place this week goes to the Minor Ladies team
who defeated a gallant Westmeath side in the Leinster

done to all involved in this fantastic achievement of
winning a third consecutive title and bringing the team
into an All Ireland semi final versus Tyrone.
