Dubs put 5 past Limerick

Dublin 5-13 v Limerick 1-5 The old cliché that goals win games
was clearly evident in this NFL Division 2A game at Adare on Sunday.
Dublin scored 4 of those in the first half combined with three
points to Limericks reply of 5 points. Natalia Hyland got Dublin’s
first goal from the penalty spot, Louise Kelly added two and Sinead
Ahearn added one combined with points from Mary Nevin, Sinead
Ahearn and Natalia Hyland.

Limerick started the second half brightly with a goal from Liz
Doran however this was to be their final score of the day despite
battling bravely against an on form Dublin side. Points from Ahearn,
Nevin Karen Hopkins, Colleen Barrett 2 and Noelle Healy assisted
by another goal from Ahearn, made sure that Dublin held out for
victory.
