Geraldine O’Shea has been announced as the Kerry
Ladies captain for the season ahead, 2008. The Annascaul native
who is Kerry’s only nomination for an Allstar award has previously
captained Kerry in 2003 when Kerry last won the Munster Ladies

a link back to Kerry’s last All Ireland winning side in 1993.
The Corca Dhuibhne player briefly took over the captaincy of the
Kerry side this year when Sarah O’Connor was unavailable and bids
for her 6th All star on November 17th in the Citywest in Dublin.

The Kerry panel met the for the first time on Sunday last as the
team management of Robbie Griffin, William O’Sullivan, Mick Fitzgerald
and Jerry O’Mahony picked the captain for the year ahead.
