Here are the teams who will compete in the LGFA’s 2023 Interfirms blitz

THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association is pleased to announce the teams bidding to become 2023 Interfirms champions.

All roads lead to the GAA’s National Games Development Centre at the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown, Dublin, tomorrow, Saturday, October 7, with seven teams signed up to compete for the top prize.

In addition, 13 teams have signed up to take part in a recreational blitz, where no matter what the level, experience or ability, teams will play lots of football, socialise with each other and have fun.

The teams competing in the competitive section of the LGFA Interfirms blitz will battle it out for the Cup and Shield titles on offer.

The annual Interfirms competition returned last year following a three-year Covid-19 enforced absence, with PWC Ireland (white) landing the Interfirms Cup, while Irish Prison Service won the Shield title.

AIB will return to the Interfirms this year, competing in the Cup competition, which they won for three successive years from 2017-2019.

The teams who will aim for LGFA Interfirms glory are as follows:

Boston Scientific
PWC Black
PWC White
AIB
An Post Insurance
Zurich Insurance
NI Fire&Rescue

The following teams will take part in the recreational blitz:
