Leitrim Ladies News Senior Ladies : Leitrim Ladies take on Galway at 1.45 pm in the Connacht Ladies Gaelic Football Championship. We would urge supporters to arrive early at the venue and support our Ladies team who were recently crowned Division 4 League Champions. This Game is a curtain raiser for the Senior Men’s game where Leitrim take on Neighbours Roscommon. Best of Luck to both teams and Management on the day. U14 All Ireland Shield B Success: Another great day in the history of Leitrim Ladies football when the county U14 girls overcame Longford on Sunday evening last in Mullaghoran Co Cavan. Erica Maye was awarded player of the match. A great display of football was given by each player. Congratulations to the team and to the management Pat McWeeney, Bernie McLoughlin and Kieran Moran , also to the background assistances Geraldine McWeeney and Mary Bohan. U12 County Blitz: Will take place on Saturday 26th June in Roscommon. More details next week. U12 Club Fixtures: The under 12 fixtures have been forwarded to each club secretary. First outing is this Thursday June 17th. All games @ 7pm , First team has home advantage. Please check fixtures weekly. 9-aside Finals: The Senior 9-aside final took place on Friday evening last in Sean O’Heslins grounds. Kiltubrid came out comfortable winners on the day on a score line of 2-08 to 6pts. The Intermediate game was played in Leitrim Gaels on Saturday evening where Sean O’Heslins and Glencar-Manorhamilton battled the whole way through to leave the game level at full time. Final score 4-10 to 4-10. Replay has not yet been confirmed. Please keep a eye out on website and fixtures for updated information.
