Leitrim and Roscommon to meet in Division 3 Play Off

In the final round of action in Division 3 of the TESCO National football league on Sunday a combination of results including wins for Roscommon and Sligo along with defeat for Leitrim meant that all three teams were level on 15 points.

As a result of the three way tie a draw took place yesterday evening with the result that Sligo, who were the first team drawn, received a bye straight into the semi final. Roscommon and Leitrim will now face each other in a play off this weekend with the winner of that match meeting Sligo in the TESCO NFL Division 3 semi final and the play off loser meeting table toppers, Waterford, in the other semi final.
