Meath Ladies U-16s face a relatively short trip to Maynooth GAA club next Sunday 22nd where they will take on Kildare in the third round of the Leinster Championship. After defeat to Dublin in Round One, Meath got back to winning ways in Round Two with a good home win against Westmeath. They face a Kildare side who two years ago went all the way to the All Ireland A U-14 Final. Kildare defeated Offaly comprehensively in Round One and gave Dublin a good run for their money in Round Two. However, Meath have learnt lessons from their opening two rounds and it is all to play for next Sunday! An Mhí Abú! Leinster U-16 Championship Round Three Kildare v Meath Sunday 22nd March at 2pm Maynooth GAA, Co. Kildare. Meath Ladies will host their first ever county Féile this coming weekend. 27 teams from around the county will compete for honours in Cup, Shield and Plate competitions with two places at National Féile in June up for grabs. The Plate competition will be held in Dunboyne and will run to final on Saturday. The Shield (Boardsmill and Trim are host clubs) and Cup (Ratoath and Skryne are host clubs) Competitions will have a round robin on Saturday and their semi-finals and finals will take place in Dunganny on Sunday.
