Reigning champions Kilkerrin-Clonberne from Galway and Waterford’s Ballymacarbry will contest the 2023 currentaccount.ie All-Ireland Senior Club Championship Final at Croke Park on Saturday December 16.

Kilkerrin-Clonberne, bidding for their third All-Ireland title in a row, defeated Kilmacud Crokes by 0-15 to 1-10 after extra-time in a cracking contest, while Ballymacarbry saw off Clann Éireann in the other semi-final by 1-10 to 0-5.

The champions were pushed all the way by Kilmacud Crokes at Parnell Park but late points from Maeve Flanagan and Olivia Divilly saw them over the line after extra-time, with Grace Kós getting the only goal of the game for Crokes.

Ballymacarby booked their place in the final for the first time since 1998 when they proved too strong for the Ulster champions in Armagh. A goal just after half-time from Aileen Wall proved decisive as Ballymacarbry pulled away for a deserved victory, with Brid McNaugh bagging four points for the winners.

Meanwhile, the 2023 currentaccount.ie All-Ireland Intermediate Club Final, also on Saturday December 16 at Croke Park, will feature Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins and Glanmire.

Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins defeated Steelstown Brian Ógs by 1-10 to 1-8, while Glanmire edged out Na Fianna by 1-7 to 0-6.
Steelstown were leading by a 1–8 to 0–9 lead as the clock hit the hour mark but Ballinamore snatched it at the death with Roisin McHugh firing over a point before Aoibheann Flynn struck the winning goal three minutes into added time in what was a quite sensational finish.

Orlaith Roche, who finished with 1-2, led the way as Glanmire produced a strong second-half performance to off the Meath champions in Mallow.

And on Sunday December 17, the currentaccount.ie All-Ireland Junior Club Final, fixed for Parnell Park in Dublin, will see Claremorris and O’Donovan Rossa lock horns.

O’Donovan Rossa from Cork qualified after a 2-12 to 0-6 win over Wexford’s Gusserane in Skibbereen. Six points from Éabha O’Donovan and goals from Fionnuala O’Driscoll and Triona Murphy proved decisive as they advanced to a final showdown against the Mayo champions after Claremorris defeated Lavey by 5-4 to 2-11. Nina Wallace got two goals for Claremorris and Bree Hession, Ashleagh Sammon and Laura Kelly also found the net.
