Shock Shock Shock! in the TESCO Post Primary School Senior A Championship

For the last number of years St Leo’s of Carlow have been the driving seat when it comes to the TESCO Post Primary Schools Championships. This all came to a sudden and heartbreaking end for the Senior A team at the weekend.

Up against Colaiste Ide agus Iosef of Limerick, the girls from St Leo’s put up a good fight but goals win games!

4 goals from the Limerick Ladies pushed them ahead of St Leos at the final whistle and booked them a place in the TESCO Senior A Championship Final.

On the other side of the A Championship, the girls from Loreto Grammer school in Omagh, who were Senior A runners up in 2010, overcame Holy Rosary of Moutbellow in Galway to ensure that they get to compete in another All Ireland Final before their schooldays are over.

In the ‘B’ Cahmpionship it will be Presentation Athenry against Scoil Mhuire of Trim.

In the ‘C’ Championship Ursuline College, Sligo will go head to head with St. Augustine’s, Dungarvan,
