MVP meaning Most Valuable People. The aim is to provide an affordable social activity for Ladies, mums, volunteers and players, and in doing so acknowledging their contribution to community sport while also promoting the local Ladies Football Club in a positive light. The class being hosted is “Boxercise” and will be in St. Nathys Hall, Mullinabreena. It will run over 6 weeks commencing late October, possibly Tuesdays but day, start date and time to be confirmed. Cheers of Joy rang out around the parish’s of Mullinabreena, Coolaney & Bunninadden when the U12 Girls won the County Championship Final (group C) on Wednesday last in St. Pat’s, Screen. The opposition was Calry/St. Josephs. The wind was howling around the field but this did not stop the might of St. Nathys. The players supported each other and lead the team to a sweet victory with a scoreline of 2.11 to 1.0. The U14’s and U16’s and Minors are still training and competing for places in their respective finals and are working hard to ensure they achieve this. Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA are hosting the “Spar in the Park” White Collar Boxing Night in the Sligo Park Hotel this Saturday 6th October at 7.30pm.
