St. Croan's Notes 07.07.2014

The Feile Peil na nOg has come to an end for this year.  This was an exciting and hectic  weekend for St. Croans ladies as it was the first time in the history of the club for our u14 team to compete in the competition and also our first time to host a competing team.  A number of games were played in Enfield pitch and once again a fantastic community effort was made to make all competitors and supporters welcome. and we thank you all most sincerely for that.   We would like to thank all the parents who hosted our visiting team, St. Pauls from Co. Laois,  We would like to thank Benny O Connell who sponsored the soup for the luncheon which was hosted in the Fr. Flanagan Memorial Centre, Ballymoe and to all the ladies who made sandwiches and cakes and to Peter Mahon and Mickey Sheils who managed the carpark on the day. We would also like to say well done to the management and to our u14 girls.

Our junior girls returned to the playing fields when they travelled to Four Roads to take on the locals on Sunday morning last.  Victory went to Four Roads with the final score 6  9  to 4  7. Next weekend we play St. Domnics on home turf and the time for this fixture will be confirmed during the week.  Training continues on Tuesday evening at 8.30

Training for u14s continues on Tuesday evening and training for u 10s continues on Monday evening
