Sunday is Cork Senior Ladies Football County Final Day Sunday is Cork Senior Ladies Football County Final Day , when Inch Rovers will put on the line their Evening Echo Senior Football county title , to the challenge of old rivals Donoughmore. Both Teams boast 10 players combined from the fantastic All Ireland 5 in a row team last Sunday , with Mary O Connor & Angela Walsh ( Inch) and Juliet Murphy & Rena Buckley ( Donoughmore) among them hoping to lead their team to capture the Eveninng Echo sponsored Championship. Donoughmore will line out on Sunday minus their camogie All Ireland winner Gemma O Connor who is on a tour of duty at the moment , and Inch Rovers are awaiting a late assessment to Amy O Shea who suffered a rib injury in the All Ireland final. It should be an enjoyable match for all spectators & we hope a large crowd will be present on the day. Preceeding this Evening Echo SFC Final , Munster Council gave their permission for their Junior Club Semi final to be apart of the attractive day of Ladies Football. Clonakilty representing Cork who overcame the challenge of Limerick representitives Drom/ Broadford, will face Waterford representitives Dungarvan at 2-30pm. Clonakilty ladies have performed very well to date and I am sure will get some inspiration from their Male Counterparts who won the Cork Senior Football County Final last Sunday in a nailbiting finish . The days preceedings will commence with the U16B county final , which will see new club Douglas contest their 2nd underage County final this year ( having already won the u14 D title in June) face Banteer the representitives from North Cork. This should be a tight match between two very good underage sides, and will make a great opening match to the days football. Programme for the day: U16BFC Final : Banteer v Douglas Pairc Ui Rinn, 12-30pm Munster JFC semi -final: Clonakilty v Dungarvan , 2-30pm. Evening Echo SFC Final: Donoughmore v Inch Rovers 4-30pm. Also in attendance will be the winning Intercounty Captains ( representitives) with their Silverware for 2009. A great days football in store – so all welcome to Parc Ui Rinn Sunday and support our club players. Share this Article 0 0
