VANCOUVER GAELIC GAMES TOURNAMENT 2009 Western Canadian Football Championship hosted by ISSC Vancouver Saturday & Sunday, 27-28 June 2009 Location: Capilano Rugby Grounds/Klahanie Park 305 Klahanie Court, North Vancouver, BC. V7P 3P5. This year’s Vancouver Tournament promises to be a full weekend of sports and entertainment with both a Ladies and Gents football Championship and a Hurling Championship. We will have travelling teams from Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Seattle. Start the weekend on Friday night with a few sociable drinks in The Black Frog Pub. The first round of the Western Canadian Championship kicks-off on Saturday morning at 10:30 am sharp. Please be at the pitch at 10am. The ISSC Vancouver are hosting a night of food, drinks and entertainment at the Moose’s DownUnder Bar from 7pm. There will be live music by Mark Downey followed by the Moose’s DownUnder’s resident DJ. Sunday’s games will begin at 10:00 a.m. Please be at the pitch at 9:30 am.
