Vancouver ISSC mournes Alex Point loss

The Vancouver ISSC wishes to express their condolences
to the family of the late Alex Point, father to Germaine Gibbons
and father-in-law to former ISSC player Liam Gibbons (son of the
late Tom Gibbons-Kilkenny) at their loss. We pass on our deep
sorrow to Rita (Belfast) at this time also. Both Rita and Alex
were in attendance at the ISSC’s 35th anniversary as a club a
few years back. Germaine and Liam’s generosity over the years
included the purchase of Gaelic football jerseys for both of the
ISSC mens and ladies teams a few years ago. The ISSC will always
remain appreciative of their long time support for Gaelic games
in Western Canada.
