Weekly notes from Sligo

There will be a Club meeting on Friday next the 14th of September at 9pm in Mullinabreena Hall. Please make an extra effort to attend this meeting.

 

The U12’s continued their unbeaten run last week with a win over CT Gaels and Geevagh. They are one game away from reaching the final which is away to Curry on Monday (10th September) at 6.45pm.

 

The U14’s managed by Paddy & Annemarie Coleman played away to Calry on Saturday last and had a convincing win. Their next game is away to Eastern Harps on Friday next the 14th Sept at 6.45pm.

 

TheU16’s got off to a winning start in their respective games but were stopped in their tracks by Eastern Harps last Tuesday. They have a week to prepare and get their form back as they meet Eoghan Rua on Monday the 17th September at 6.45pm.

 

The Senior’s are in full training for the Championship and as Geevagh were victorious against Drumcliff at the weekend this means the 2012 Senior Final due to be held on the 22nd September in Tubbercurry @ 4.15pm will be contested by St. Nathys and Geevagh. In the past these teams have offered a great display of football to spectators and this year is going to be no different. Your support would be greatly appreciated by the team on this day.
