The LGFA’s Jackie Cahill caught up with two legends of the game earlier today – Jenny Greenan from Monaghan and Sue Ramsbottom from Laois, to look back on the 1996 All-Ireland Senior Final replay at Croke Park, a memorable game that can be viewed on TG4 next Sunday, May 3, at 4.20pm, as part of the #AllIrelandGold series.

Both players enjoyed magnificent individual displays but it was Monaghan who came out on top after a terrific game, on a 2-11 to 1-8 scoreline, to win the Brendan Martin Cup for the very first time.

Enjoy this wonderful trip down memory lane with Jenny, who starred at midfield for Monaghan on the day, and Sue, one of the most gifted forwards in the game who scored a stunning goal in the second half.
