Golden Boot Competition 2010 Sunday Independent in association with PUMA is once again the proud sponsors of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Golden Boot Award. There is a change of format for the 2010 competition this year the Golden Boot Award is being extended to include the Intermediate and Junior Championships! The top scorer each weekend from across the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championship will be featured in the section in the Sunday Independent. The top 3 scorers in each grade will be displayed on a leader board included in the section and the overall top scorer from Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships will each receive golden boot awards at the end of the Championship season. The overall winners will be determined on the total combination goals and points scored in the Championship please note in the case of a tie the winner will be determined by the player who scores the greater number of goals. Therefore we will be keeping a record of all scorers as per each championship like so: Senior Championship: Provincial Championship and All Ireland Championship game scores to count towards player’s total Intermediate Championship: Round Robin and knock-out Championship games scores to count towards player’s total Junior Championship: Round Robin and knock-out Championship games scores to count towards player’s total Managers or a designated member of the management team must email their players score tallies to goldenboot@pembrokecomms.ie (Deadline: Monday 5pm following the weekend’s game) The databases of scorers for all three Championships will be made available online at www.ladiesgaelic.ie with the weekly winner receiving a pair of Puma Boots plus the overall winner from each Championship will receive a collection of Puma sportswear.
