Level 1 Coaching Course: Cumann Peil Gael na mBann Cill Dara will run a Level 1 coaching course with day 1 at the end of May and Day 2 at the beginning of July. With over 50 completing our Foundation courses in January and February, these people will be given first priority on places.
U/13 Development Squad: Yesterday saw the first day of Development Squad training for Kildare ladies football. 32 girls turned out in what were sunny but bitterly cold conditions at Hawkfield where they recieved specialised coaching in the skills of ladies football. The aim here is to take some of the coaching burnden from the clubs and help develop our young players in the key areas. Training will continue on a monthly basis with Kildare senior lady footballers on hand to help and encourage the girls and where club mentors and trainers are invivted to see the various methods used. Thanx to all who turned out yesterday for what I hope will be a huge benefit to all clubs who choose to use it.

U/12 Training: Saturday also saw the start of our U/12 training for 2008. At present there are 3 different squads of 30 girls each. They will train weekly from now on at Rathangan,Carbury and Round Towers.
