Major new Sponsorship deal announced for Connacht Ladies Gaelic
Football Cumann Peil Connacht na mBan is delighted to announce
a new sponsorship deal for two major competitions in the province
in 2007.

ECC Timber will sponsor the Connacht Interprovincial team for
the inter-provincial series on the 26th and 27th May and financially
assist in the running of the TG4 Connacht Senior Championship
including the provision of the Player of the Match award for all
games in the round robin series and the shield for the Senior
Shield competition. ECC Timber is one of Ireland’s premier processing
plants supplying kiln dried construction, fencing, pallet, packaging
and machined fencing posts to the Irish and UK markets.

This exciting new sponsorship deal is welcomed by all involved
in Ladies Gaelic Football in Connacht and will greatly help in
the promotion of the game in the province. The first round of
the Connacht Senior Championship will take place on the 28th and
29th of April, where it kicks starts with the eagerly awaited
tie between Galway and Mayo in Tuam Stadium at 1.00pm.

On Sunday 29th April Roscommon host Sligo in Dr Hyde Park at 3.00pm.
PJ Fahy, managing director of ECC Timber, has a long association
with Ladies Gaelic football in Connacht culminating with his involvement
as team manager with the Galway Senior Ladies team that won the
All-Ireland Final in 2004.
