Milltown/Listry are Junior B Shield Champions

Milltown/Listry 1-10 Duagh 2-6

Milltown/Listry battled back from a first half deficit of 2-5 to 1-3 to win by a point in a most entertaining and full blooded contest at Strand Road on last wed night. The Miltown girls got off to a flier and led 1-1 to 2 points with a Rachel O’Sullivan goal
before Laura Sheeran inspired her Duagh team mates with 3 points.Duagh then added 2 goals before half time to give them a wind aided advantage. Milltown took full control in the second half chipping slowly at the Duagh lead to take the lead 4 mins from time when Anita Sawyers pointed a fine individual effort.
