There are 2 routes to choose from a 10k or a 6k. Proceeds from this event will go towards St. Nathys and Crumlin Childrens Hospital. Entry fee is €13.00. The Championship games are in full swing with all teams out to compete for a victory. The U16’s play away to CT Gaels on Wednesday next at 7pm while the U12’s are at home to CT Gaels on Friday next at 7pm. The seniors played their first game against Geevagh on Sunday 5th August and were defeated by 1 point. Having been behind in the first half the girls fought back to redeem themselves but there just wasn’t enough time. They have a break now until the 26th August where they meet Drumcliff. The next few games are very important and are must win games in order to secure a place in the final having been overpowered in the first round. Curry is holding the next U10 blitz which is being held this Saturday in Curry Football Grounds. Team registration is at 10am with games commencing shortly after. All players have been notified by text and are asked to be there at 10am. The past few have been a great success and very enjoyable. Commiserations to the Sligo U16’s team who were defeated by a very strong Cavan side at the week end in the All Ireland Semi-Final.
