2014 TESCO Homegrown Club Person Nominations Open

Nominations are now being sought for the 2014 TESCO Homegrown Club Person of the Year Award. The award recognises the work carried out by volunteers throughout the country and the invaluable contribution that they make to every level of the game.

Every club around the country relies on their volunteers to make sure that everything on the pitch and off it is ready to host players of all ages as they take to the field in search of glory. These volunteers do everything from coaching teams, raising funds, washing jerseys, cutting grass, lining pitches, cleaning changing rooms, transporting players and everything in between.

If there is a person within your club  that is essential to the club, a person without whom the club would really struggle then fill out the form attached and return it to us before the deadline of Friday, January 30th to make sure that your nominee has a chance of receiving the recognition they deserve.

A winner will be selected from each of the 4 provinces and those 4 winners will be invited to a gala event at which they will receive their awards and at the same event one of the provincial winners will be selected as the national winner.
